What is the Internet?

The Internet is the way devices connect to each other. When our computers, phones, tablets or game consoles are connected to the Internet, The Internet allows them to communicate with other devices.

Here’s some examples of how the Internet keeps us connected with other people:

1- Texting

2- make an audio or video call

3- Send and receive emails

4- Play video games with other people anywhere in the world as long as they have access to the Internet

There’s also another very common and important use of the Internet that people use daily and that is: Accessing the World Wide Web.

What does the World Wide Web mean?

The World Wide Web or Web for short is a collection of websites you can access through the Internet. Such as google.com and youtube.com

Some people use the word Internet and Web interchangeably, but the Web is not the same as the Internet.
